Justa bunch of photos I've taken

A cherry tree

A Cherry Tree

One of the cherry trees in my yard. Pretty barren during winter, but really fun during the summer months when it looks good, smells good and tastes good. :D

A beach with mountain view

Beach

Never really been a beach person but I get the best out of the sights I find. Especially when mountains are involved.

A Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter

HELICOPTERRRRRR

A Sikorsky UH-60 filling up to drop on a nearby forest fire. I feel very lucky to have gotten the chance to get this shot as it was a journey to even get to where I was. Guess it was just a "right place right time" kinda scenario.

Cooper's_Hawk

Cooper's Hawk

Cooper's Hawks can be found everywhere this time of year (June/July) as the juveniles start trying to get a grasp on surviving on their own. This one I found in my sanctuary hiding in the trees. They are also monogamous.

Bald Mountain

Bald Mountain Outpost

A very rare photo of the Sierra Nevada mountains without 20 zillion forest fires and dead trees everywhere (ikr). Shots like these have been really rare since the Creek Fire during covid, most of the affected forest still hasn't fully recovered yet :/ But untouched portions still remain flourishing.

Forest floor

Forest Floor

I don't know what it is about places like this. They just have a different feeling that comes with them. Somewhere protected where you're completely at peace and nothing can touch you. You're the only person in the entire world, and that's just fine.

Starry Sky

Billions of Stars

A 15 second exposure of the night sky. You can see one of the belts of our Milky Way just above the trees. The light pollution of nearby cities and a near full moon kind of dull out most of the stars which is a shame. But still a nice view of our galaxy.

Andromeda

Andromeda

This is what a night sky exposure is supposed to look like on a night with no moon and no visible light pollution. This photo was taken at a different time of the year hence the different orientation of the belt. You can even see the Andromeda Galaxy in the top left!
